Administration - Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of BC Hockey is, as the name suggests, the main annual meeting of the members of BC Hockey. It is held Friday to Sunday, normally the fourth weekend in June. It is the only regularly scheduled meeting when the BC Hockey Executive Committee and its constituent committees (minor, junior, male senior / recreational, female senior / recreational) meet simultaneously.

The 2010 AGM will be held June 25-27 at the Prince George Civic Centre in Prince George, BC.

AGM Voting Delegate Registration Form must be completed to be able to vote at the Annual General Meeting. Please note that BC Hockey By-Laws stipulate eligibility for all voting delegates and proxies relate to the registration of teams / leagues for the season that has just been completed. BC Hockey By-Laws also require that members be in good standing, so please ensure that all accounts relating to the past season are current with BC Hockey prior to the AGM. Voting registration instructions will be provided to individuals upon completion of the membership application.

Our Vision: To create the best possible business, interactive and social environment for BC Hockey members as they meet to serve six primary purposes:

1. to review the completed season
2. to establish rules, regulations, bylaws, policy and budget directions for the coming seasons
3. to elect the BC Hockey Executive Committee for the coming year
4. to celebrate those gaining Championship status as well as those awarded for outstanding service
5. to allow an opportunity to educate and train volunteers for the coming season
6. to create a sense of pride in their accomplishments and the organization

The AGM builds a dynamic organization that melds Hockey Canada decisions with BC Hockey Branch decisions into the organization’s strategic plan giving operational direction to the membership.
