Canucks First Strides Program Coming to West Kelowna
The Canucks Centre for BC Hockey announced this week that the Vancouver Canucks will hold a First Strides Program at the Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna on September 14. The program is part of the Canucks visit to Penticton and the Okanagan region for their rookie camp and training camp.

Nugent-Hopkins Selected to National U18 Summer Team
Hockey Canada announced Tuesday, August 3 the 22 players who will represent Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under 18 Team at the 2010 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament, August 9-14 in Breclav, Czech Republic and Piestany, Slovakia. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Burnaby, BC) was the lone player selected from BC.

2010 Male U17 Provincial Development Camp
BC Hockey’s Male Under 17 Provincial Development Camp was held in Salmon Arm from July 20-24, 2010. The top 54 players at the U17 level attended the prestigious five (5) day camp. Team Leafs captured the Ted Hargreaves Memorial Cup after winning the three (3) team tournament held during the camp.
