Youth Programs - Penalty Free Challenge

The Penalty-Free Challenge is a BC Hockey program that encourages positive social values, including Fair Play, integrity, respect and fairness. These are all essential elements of our game that the program strives for.

The Vancouver Canucks are partners with BC Hockey in this initiative, and both the Canucks and BC Hockey believe that the principles of fair play are far greater than the game itself.

BC Hockey’s “Penalty Free Challenge” occurs every January during BC Minor Hockey Week. To enter, teams must play a penalty free game during BC Minor Hockey Week and submit their game sheet and entry form to BC Hockey.

BC Hockey minor hockey teams who successfully enter the BC Hockey “Penalty Free Challenge” receive a gift from BC Hockey and are entered to win an additional prize(s) such as an exclusive event with the Vancouver Canucks at GM Place.
