2012 BC Hockey Annual General Meeting

The 2012 BC Hockey Annual General Meeting (AGM) has officially begun today at the Hilton Whistler Resort and Spa in Whistler, BC. The Three (3) day event runs from June 22-24, 2012 with a focus on the safety of the game of hockey.
Representatives from minor hockey associations across the province, along with the board of directors and life members, will be attending the event. These individuals come together to help direct the growth of hockey in BC.
BC Hockey’s 2012 Awards Banquet is set for Saturday June 23, where deserving recipients will be honoured in various categories for their contributions and dedication to hockey in BC. The Canucks Silver Skate Luncheon will also be held on Saturday. These awards are presented to the 2011-2012 BC Hockey Champions, and they are given as recognition for the perseverance, dedication and teamwork put forth by each of the Championship teams during the hockey season.
The Annual General Meeting is the main meeting of the BC Hockey membership. The meeting is historically held during the fourth weekend of June from Friday to Sunday. This is the only regularly scheduled meeting between the BC Hockey Executive Committee and its constituent committees (Minor, Junior, Male Senior/Recreational and Female Senior/Recreational).
