BC: Who has had the most influence on your hockey career, and why?
B: My dad. He taught me the basics of everything when I was younger and now that I’m older, he has helped me in many ways to excel in this sport.  He always has good pointers for me to work on.
 
BC: What is your first memory of playing hockey or skating?
B: Figure skating at Holly Burn before I started playing hockey when I was 2.
 
BC: Who was your favorite minor hockey coach, and why?
B: Jeff Eaton.  He was hard on us but he pushed us to be the best we could be all the time.  If we weren’t trying our best, it wasn’t good enough.  I developed a lot during the years I trained with him.
 
BC: What is your most memorable hockey moment?
B: Beating POE in the CSSHL playoffs last year.
 
BC: What are your future hockey goals?
B: Go to an NCAA school and play for them.  I would also love to play for the National team.
 
BC: What would it mean to you to win the National Women’s U18 Championship?
B: It would be the biggest accomplishment in hockey I’ve had this far.
 
BC: What one word describes you on the ice? Off the ice?
B: On the ice: fast.  Off the ice: smart.
 
BC: Fave female athlete?
B: Gina Kingsburry
BC: Fave NHL team?
B: Vancouver Canucks
 
BC: Fave sport other than hockey?
B: Slalom Skiing
BC: Fave movie?
B: Bridesmaids
 
BC: Fave TV show?
B: Big Bang Theory
 
BC: Fave food?
B: Pizza
BC: Do you have any superstitions?
B: I put on my left skate and tie it first.
 
BC: As a fan, what was your favorite international hockey moment?
B: When Sidney Crosby got the winning goal for Canada in the 2010 Olympics.
 
BC: What do you consider your strongest hockey skill?  How did you develop it?
B: I think my skating is my strongest skill and years and years of power skating helped develop it.
 
BC: What are a couple random facts about you?
B: I am missing a tooth.  I play water-sports.  I moved away from home when I was 14.
