BC Hockey High Performance officials are the elite officials within our organization. They have the opportunity to be selected for regional and national events such as the BC Winter Games, Canada Winter Games and the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.

A few seasons ago the Referee Committee restructured the High Performance Program. The Best Ever Camp is now the first stage. Upon completion of this camp the top officials will have the opportunity to move forward in the program.  Those officials are then entered into the High Performance pool, which consists of Best Ever officials from previous seasons as well as the current season. Officials from this pool will be eligible for assignments such as BC Winter Games, BC Cup Under 17, Hockey Canada Program of Excellence, Canada Winter Games and the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge. Officials are recommended for the Best Every Camp by BC Hockey Referee Committee Members.
