BC Hockey is pleased to announce the rosters for the 2007-2008 Major Midget League All-Star Game. The All-Star Game will take place at 1:00 pm January 1, 2008 at Minoru Arena in Richmond, BC.
Forty players (12 defensemen, 24 forwards and four goaltenders) have been selected, with at least one player representing each of the 11 Major Midget League teams. Players were chosen after being evaluated on their on-ice and off-ice performance by a selection committee. The selected players have been divided into two teams (team white and team blue) for the All-Star Game.
The Vancouver North West Giants and the Greater Vancouver Canadians led the league with six selected players each.
The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
