BC Hockey announced the head coaches for the six (6) Female Midget AAA (FMAAA) teams for the 2017 - 2018 season. The coaching staff is:

Collins joins the FMAAA with an impressive hockey resume. This past season she was an assistant coach with Team Canada’s U18 National Team that brought home the silver medal from the Women’s U18 World Championship and coached at the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA). She has also coached Team Canada’s Women’s Development team and at Mercyhurst University. As a player, Collins was a member of the Women’s U22 National team and five (5) time member of Team Canada that competed at the IIHF Women’s World Championship, claiming three (3) gold and two (2) silver medals.
Taylor is entering his fourth season as a coach in the FMAAA and third as head coach of the Comets. In 2015, he helped lead Team BC as assistant coach to the National U18 Women’s Championship where the team finished fourth. His professional playing career spanned 12 years included stints with the National Hockey League (NHL) Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals before playing five (5) years in Switzerland.
For the past three (3) seasons, Boisvert has been the Bantam Rep Tier 2 head coach with the Greater Trail Minor Hockey Association (MHA). He has also held coaching positions with the BC Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL) Selkirk Saints and spent many years in the BC Hockey Program of Excellence (POE).
Price was the assistant coach of the Capitals last season, helping the team the FMAAA Championship series and claimed the 2016 Mac’s Midget Tournament Championship. Prior to joining the league, she helped coach the Female Midget 15 Steelers team based out of Calgary, Alberta that were the 2015 Alberta Provincial Champions. Her above minor playing career started at Niagara University, before playing with the Mount Royal Cougars and in the Southern Alberta Women’s Hockey Association with the Calgary Chargers and Calgary Fusion.
Atchison is heading into his first year as ad coach in the FMAAA after spending three (3) seasons as head coach for the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association (VIAHA) Female Midget and Bantam Regional teams.
The Female Midget AAA League was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite Female Midget teams.
