The FMAAA was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite female Midget teams. The league has had over 100 players move on to post-secondary hockey opportunities.
For more information about the FMAAA, please visit the website at http://www.bchockey.net/fmaaa, follow along on social media at twitter.com/bchockey_female or email us at midgethockey@bchockey.net.
The MML was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17-year-olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the TELUS Cup, Canada’s National Midget Championship.
