BC Hockey is pleased to announce that Colton Cyr has been selected as the BC Hockley Player of the Month for November. A forward with the North Island Silvertips, Cyr registered 6 goals and 2 assist for a total of 8 points during the month.

At 15, Cyr has taken on a big roll with the team and is the team’s leading scorer. He has also consistently placed in the top 10 in scoring in the league. He’s had an excellent start to this season which has resulted in him being protected by the Kelowna Rockets.

“Colton has been a great player for us both on and off the ice,” stated Silvertips Head Coach Brad Knight.

As player of the month, Cyr will receive a gift from Mission-Itech.

The BC Hockey Major Midget League was established in 2004 to provide elite level 15, 16 and 17 year olds an opportunity to play within their own age group at a high level and be developed for the next level of hockey. These teams have an opportunity each year to compete for the National Midget Championship.
