BC: Who has had the most influence on your hockey career, and why?
S: My dad. He spent the time and money to help develop my skills and love for the game.
BC: What is your first memory of playing hockey or skating?
S: Being out on the ice with my dad learning how to skate and stick handle.
BC: What was your most memorable hockey moment?
S: Winning MVP when I played against the Czech women’s team.
BC: Who was your favorite minor hockey coach?
S: Dennis Koch. He always gave me great support and the confidence to carry the puck.
BC: What are your future hockey goals?
S: To play for Canada’s U18 National Team, then hopefully the Olympics.
BC: What one word describes you on the ice? Off the ice?
S: On the ice, smooth. Off the ice, silly.

S: Skating. My dad had me in power skating when I was 4.

S: When Sydney Crosby scored to win gold.

S: I love cats. I love Kelly Armstrong books. I’m funny once people get to know me.
