Eight (8) teams have arrived in Huntsville, Ontario to compete for the gold medal at the 2015 National Women’s Under-18 Championship, which gets underway Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Canada Summit Centre.
Defending gold-medalist Ontario Red will play in Group A with Manitoba, Quebec and Saskatchewan, while the silver-medalists Ontario Blue are in Group B along with Alberta, Atlantic, and British Columbia.
All preliminary round games, placement games, semifinals, and the bronze-medal game can be seen live via FASTHockey webcast at

Team BC’s roster was announced October 1, 2015 and features 20 athletes from across the province. The team includes nine (9) players who competed with Team BC at the 2015 Canada Winter Games (Skinner, Martin, Sim, Beres, Rempe, MacMillan, Potomak, Knowles, and Dove) and one (1) underage (2000 born) player (Vorster). BC’s best finish at the event was in 2005, when the team won bronze. In the 2013 edition of the Championship, BC finished in 7th place.
