2018 Western Bantam AAA Championship

The Seafair Islanders (BC) have won the 2018 Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship in Kamloops, BC, after a 2-1 overtime win over the Airdrie Xtreme (AB).

Jaden Uy scored the first Seafair goal with 2:22 remaining in the third period to tie the score at 1-1 after Airdrie's Craig Armstrong had given them a 1-0 lead with 8:15 remaining in the third period. In the second overtime, it was Thomas Tien scoring the winning goal just under five (5) minutes into the fifth period of the game.

In the bronze medal game, Winnipeg (MB) defeated the Thompson Blazers (host) 3-2 in overtime to claim third place.
