Bob Hall was a National Hockey League (NHL) referee from 1979 to 1989, officiating 437 games during his career, and added 17 playoff games. Hall has been an officiating manger in the NHL since his retirement and he has also been a Western Hockey League (WHL) supervisor of officials.
Bob got his start in officiating in Richmond and Seafair Minor Hockey Associations (MHA), working his way up the ranks, from minor through Junior and the WHL, eventually the NHL.
Bob has become involved in minor hockey in BC since his NHL career finished, having hosted referee schools, and instructor clinics in the province. Bob Hall was inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame in 2007.
