The Kimberly Dynamiters are one of the longest running Senior teams in Canadian hockey history; they played for nearly 50 years from 1931 to 1981, however missed a few seasons due to the Second World War.
The Dynamiters won the Allan Cup Senior AAA National Championship twice in their history, once in 1936, and again in 1978.
Their 1936 Allan Cup won them the right to represent Canada at the World Championship in 1937. The Kimberly team embarked on a 62 game tour of Europe, before ending up in London England, the host of the 1937 World Championship. Canada went undefeated in the tournament, to win the country its ninth World Championship Gold.
The 1937 Kimberly Dynamiters were inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame in 1994.
