Brent Seabrook i(Richmond, BC) played a year of Junior B hockey with the Delta Ice Hawks of the Pacifc Junior Hockey League (PJHL) before moving onto the Western Hockey League (WHL). Seabrook played four (4) seasons in the WHL with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, and was taken in the first round of the 2003 entry draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Seabrook twice played in the World Junior Hockey Championship for Canada, taking silver in 2004 and winning gold in 2005. Seabrook’s international success didn’t just come at the World Juniors, he also won gold at the Under-18’s and was a part of the golden Vancouver 2010 Olympic team.
Seabrook has played over 1,000 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) scoring 428 points as a defenceman. Brent Seabrook has won three (3) Stanley Cups with Chicago, where he has played the entirety of his NHL career.
