Duncan Keith was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but played his minor and Junior hockey in Penticton, BC.
Keith was drafted in the second round by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2002, and has spent the entirety of his National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Hawks. Keith has won three (3) Stanley Cups in Chicago, and has had incredible international and personal success in hockey as well. He has won two (2) Olympic gold medals, a silver at the World Championship, two (2) James Norris Trophies for best defenseman and a Conn Smythe for NHL playoff Most Valuable Player.
Keith, who is still active in the NHL, has scored over 500 points and has played over 950 games.
