Weekly recap from the Female Midget AAA League (FMAAA). The FMAAA league final is set and it is a rematch of the 2017-2018 final as both Greater Vancouver and Fraser Valley won their semi-final series.

Fraser Valley Rush vs. Northern Capitals

Game 1: Fraser Valley 4, Northern 0

Game 2:  Fraser Valley 2, Northern 1

Rush win the series 2-0.

Greater Vancouver Comets vs. Thompson-Okanagan Lakers

Game 1: Greater Vancouver 6, Thompson-Okanagan 1

Game 2:  Greater Vancouver 4, Thompson-Okanagan 0

Comets win the series 2-0.

The FMAAA was initiated in the 2007-2008 season in response to the membership’s desire to provide an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone teams to challenge other elite female Midget teams. The league has had over 100 players move on to post-secondary hockey opportunities.
