BC Players Named to Canada’s National Women’s Development and U18 Team Selection Camp

Hockey Canada released the names of the players selected to Canada’s National Women’s Development and U18 Team selection camps, which includes 10 BC Hockey players.

The camps will be held from August 2-11, 2019 in Calgary, Alberta. Directly following the camp, a team of 23 players will be selected to compete in a three (3) game series versus the United States. 

All nine (9) of the BC Hockey athletes have been apart of the BC Hockey Female Program of Excellence.  Woodland, Knowles and Potomak competed together on Team BC at the 2016 National Women’s U18 Championship, bringing home the bronze medal.  The six (6) players invited to the National Women’s U18 Selection Camp won bronze at the 2019 Canada Winter Games and will be participating at the BC Hockey Female U18 Provincial Camp taking place July 25 – 28, 2019 in Shawnigan Lake, BC.
