BC HOCKEY ANNOUNCES ROSTER FOR FEMALE PROGRAM OF EXCELLENCE SEPTEMBER CAMP

Saanichton, B.C. - BC Hockey is pleased to announce the rosters for the Female Program of Excellence (POE) September Camp that will be held September 19-22, 2024, at the Langley Twin Rinks in Langley, B.C and the Pitt Meadows Arena in Pitt Meadows, B.C.

 The camp will see 26 of the top 2007-2010-born female players compete for a spot on the final 20-person roster ahead of the 2024 National Women's Under-18 Championship.

The September Camp is for BC Hockey/Hockey Canada players that are residents of British Columbia and Yukon, and are part of a phased process for BC Hockey to evaluate and ultimately select the team that will represent B.C. at the 2024 National Women's Under-18 Championship. The final Team BC 20-person roster will be announced after the conclusion of the September Camp.

Throughout the camp, the team will participate in a variety of on-and-off-ice sessions including practices, evaluation exercises and games. The games that will occur throughout the camp are: 

• Thursday, September 19 vs. U17 AAA Valley West Giants - 6:45 p.m. - Langley Twin Rinks
• Friday, September 20 vs. Ridge Meadows U18 Tier 1 - 7:45 p.m. - Pitt Meadows Arena
• Saturday, September 21 vs. U17 AAA Valley West Giants - 2:00 p.m. - Langley Twin Rinks
