BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 18-20

Saanichton, B.C. - We've entered Week 2 in the BCEHL, and all four leagues are in action! The puck drops on the Women's U18 season, and the U15 league kicks off with the U15 Showcase in Langley.

Women's U18 AAA

The Women's U18 AAA league gets underway this weekend, featuring a matchup between the defending champions, the Greater Vancouver Comets and the Vancouver Island Seals.

U18 AAA

This weekend's U18 action begins Friday night with a contest between the Vancouver North East Chiefs (1-0-0-0) and the Valley West Giants (1-1-0-0). Both teams are coming off wins in their most recent games and will look to carry that momentum into the second weekend of the season.

U17 AAA

In the U17 league, the Vancouver North West Hawks (2-0-0-0) and the Thompson Blazers (1-0-1-0) will face off this weekend. The Hawks will look to remain undefeated, while the Blazers look to build on earning three of a possible four points from their opening weekend.

U15 AAA

The U15 league will begin its season on Friday, with all nine teams gathering at Langley Twin Rinks for the first showcase of the season. The defending champions, Okanagan Rockets, will take on the Greater Vancouver Canadians in both teams' first game of the season.
