BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - SEPTEMBER 23-27

Saanichton, B.C. - The Women’s U18 AAA Showcase takes centre stage this weekend in Surrey as all four BCEHL leagues continue regular season action.

Women's U18 AAA

The Women’s U18 AAA Showcase kicks off on Friday in Surrey. The league-leading Greater Vancouver Comets (2-0-0-0) will look to extend their perfect start to the season when they face off against the third-place Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (1-1-0-0) on Friday afternoon at Surrey Sport & Leisure Arena.

U18 AAA

In the lone U18 matchup, the second-place Okanagan Rockets (3-1-0-0) and third-place Cariboo Cougars (1-0-1-0) face off on back-to-back nights this weekend. The Cougars will have to contend with the Rockets’ potent offence, which has seen them rack up 20 goals through their first four games.

U17 AAA

It's a meeting between the top two teams in the U17 league as the league-leading Vancouver North West Hawks (3-0-0-1) travel to Prince George to take on the second-place Cariboo Cougars (3-1-0-0).

U15 AAA

A pair of teams will have the opportunity to move into first place in the U15 standings, as the second-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (3-1-0-0) and third-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (3-1-0-0) are both in action while the league-leading Okanagan Rockets (4-0-0-0) are on a bye.
