Hockey cannot be played without officials. Officiating is the gas that gets the proverbially motor to run. For those that want to put on that striped sweater and lead the way, the following steps outline the process for you to register for the 2024-25 season.

Click HereParticipant Assessment Fees (Insurance): It is mandatory for all BC Hockey officials to have Hockey Canada Insurance, which is by way of the annual participant assessment fee. If you are not otherwise registered (as outlined below) and have forgotten to purchase the participant assessment fee during clinic registration, please follow the link above to make that purchase. If you have yet to register for a clinic and require this fee, feel free to purchase during registration.
- Officials that are NOT registered as a player or team official with a BC Hockey / Hockey Canada sanctioned team for the current season ARE REQUIRED TO PAY the participant assessment fee, upon registering as an official (available for purchase during clinic registration check out).
- Officials that ARE registered as a player or team official with a BC Hockey / Hockey Canada sanctioned team ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY the participant assessment fee, upon registering as an official.
- The Participant assessment fee for the 2022-23 season is $47.80 & is in addition to the annual registration fee.
